Where is smoking being prohibited?
As of July 1, 2015, smoking will be prohibited in:
- All enclosed workplaces and facilities;
- All enclosed public places;
- Within 6 feet of outside entrances, operable windows and ventilation systems where smoking is prohibited.
- Within 4 feet of outside entrances, operable windows and ventilation systems where smoking is prohibited in the downtown district.
Enforcement of this policy is complaint driven. To file a complaint of violation of this ordinance, contact the Branson Police Department at (417) 334-3300.
Please be assured that the City of Branson intends to enforce provisions of this ordinance for both individuals who smoke in a public place and owners and managers who allow smoking in a prohibited area.
