Rick Todd began his service with the Board of Aldermen in December of 2009. He is senior vice president of strategic planning, new business development, and risk management at Silver Dollar City (Herschend Family Entertainment), where he has been employed since 1969. His positions have included director of operations for Dollywood in Tennessee, corporate vice president of water parks division, and vice president of corporate design and development.
Todd and his team were responsible for the development and design of rides, attractions, and facilities at all Herschend Family Entertainment locations. He has served on the boards of Ozark Marketing Council, Branson Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and CVB, Country Music Association, and Academy of Country Music.
He is married with two sons and one granddaughter.
