Drivers along W. 76 Country Blvd should expect to see a crew of Public Works employees collecting data and maintaining the Storm Drain System starting Wednesday, January 15, 2020, through January 22, 2020. This work is expected to have little to no traffic delays or impact.
The Street and Engineering Department crew will start at Gretna Road Wednesday and work their way west to Shepherd of the Hills Expressway. While this work is expected to take approximately a week to complete, it is weather dependent and may result in the work lasting longer than expected.
Crews will be using a three-vehicle mobile work zone to collect information and make any necessary repairs or maintenance. The data that is collected will be used to update the City’s Stormwater GIS Database which includes elevations and location of drain pipes.
Drivers are reminded to be mindful of workers, warning signs and changing traffic patterns in the area of the mobile work zone.
