City Clerk Accepting Applications for Planning Commission

The City of Branson Clerk is accepting applications for the Planning Commission. The Planning Commission reports on any and all proposed changes in the zoning code and to zoning districts, reviews all proposed subdivisions of land, and recommends plans and physical improvement programs for the City. The Commission additionally reviews special use permit requests for their potential impact on surrounding properties and they overall insure any proposed development within each zoning district protects the integrity of that district.
The Planning Commission consist of members form the Board of Aldermen and local citizens. There is currently one open position with a term to expire in April of 2020. Applications and additional information are available at www.bransonmo.gov or in the City Clerk’ Office located in City Hall at 110 West Maddux Street. Interested parties may also call the Clerk’s Office at (417) 337-8522.
Citizens interested in volunteering and becoming involved with the City are encouraged to apply. The application deadline is December 11, 2017 at 4:30 p.m.
