Branson Police Seek Information on Alleged Police Impersonator

The Branson Police Department is seeking information regarding a subject who may have recently impersonated a police officer or U.S. Marshal, in the area.


While the subject of the investigation is in custody, Branson investigators wish to interview citizens who may have witnessed this type of activity or may have been contacted by this suspect.


If you have been stopped by a smaller red vehicle with emergency equipment recently, please contact the Branson Police Department at (417) 334-3300 and ask for Detective Joe Edwards.


The Branson Police Department takes this type of criminal activity seriously and would appreciate any and all information regarding this situation to help keep Branson a safe place for those who live, work and play here.
