City of Branson Looking for Advisory Park Board Member

The City of Branson is looking for people interested in volunteering and becoming more involved with the city to apply for an opening on the Advisory Park Board. The Park Board makes recommendations to the city administrator or the board on all major proposals and propositions for the construction, reconstruction, and improvements of public parks and recreational facilities in the city.

The deadline for the following Board and Committee vacancy application is September 10, 2018, at 4:30 p.m.:

  • Advisory Park Board – One position open. (to fill an unexpired term until June 2019)

The Park Board consists of ten members to be appointed by the mayor with the approval of the board. The members shall be residents of the city and shall hold office for a term of three years.
