Shepherd of the Hills Expy Lane Closures Thursday & Friday

The Branson Public Works Department will temporarily close a lane on Shepherd of the Hills Expressway, starting Thursday, October 11, 2018, to fix a retaining wall that was damaged in a vehicle accident.

The city has contracted with G. Griffin Construction for repair of the retaining wall at Victorian Village, located at the intersection of Little Petes Rd. and Shepherd of the Hills Expy. The repairs consist of removing existing damaged retaining wall units and removing and replacing the handrail. Signage and traffic cones will be placed in the westbound lane of the Shepherd of the Hills Expressway for approximately 400 feet to meet traffic safety standards during the removal of the handrail and stabilization of the retaining wall.

The contractor will be mobilizing equipment and beginning construction on Thursday, October 11, 2018.  The temporary lane closure will begin at 7:00 a.m. Thursday, through 5:00 p.m. Friday, October 12, 2018.  Motorists traveling on Shepherd of the Hills Expressway are encouraged to be aware of signage, work crews in the Work Zone and to use alternate routes or expect delays if traveling in this area.
