The Branson Tree Board has chosen the Andy Williams Performing Arts Center, located at 1 Andy Williams Blvd., for the August 2019 City of Branson Beautification Award. This award recognizes owners of commercial properties in Branson who take pride in and showcase their landscape.
The Andy Williams Performing Arts Center design reflects the beauty and environmental integrity of the surrounding Ozarks Mountains. The 48,000 square foot structure is set among 16 acres landscaped with foliage, rock formations, waterfalls, and a rippling stream. Theatre Manager Icy Wyatt accepted the award on behalf of Jimmy Osmond.
“We are honored to acknowledge our landscapers, Green Side Up, and Jim Contreras, who takes care of the Koi pond and does maintenance of the grounds on a daily basis,” said Wyatt.
Beautification Awards are presented on a monthly basis between May and October. The criteria for nominations are:
1) A commercial property located within the Branson city limits
2) Landscaped area must be highly visible to the general public
Nominations may be submitted by contacting City Planner, Amy Jackson at 417-337-8568 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. For more information on the City of Branson Tree Board and what it does, visit our website at http://www.cityofbranson.org/133/Tree-Board.
