The Office of Public Information develops, organizes and coordinates public information and community relations programs. The public information director serves as the liaison for city officials and the news media regarding stories and interviews relating to the city of Branson. The department generates news releases, creates the monthly e-newsletter Branson Briefs, updates the city's website and oversees production of other city-wide publications.

The director coordinates the bi-annual Citizens Academy that gives citizens a close up view of all aspects of city government.

Public Information manages the Citizens Service Request Line where citizens can report problems around the city, ordinance violations, and receive answers to questions concerning city government.
