Kendall Powell of the Utilities Department has demonstrated admirable performance as a City of Branson employee. Kendall has embodied the Branson values of “Teamwork / Cooperation” and “Service & Courtesy.”

In 2011, Kendall assembled a major amount of information for review by the Board of Aldermen regarding comparisons of water and sewer system connection charges. His detailed information allowed the Board members to easily relate revenue amounts currently being collected to a new process proposed in a Comprehensive Water and Sewer Rate study by HDR Engineering.

Kendall represents the Utilities department at A.R.T. meetings and at Planning & Zoning Commission meetings. The department of ten receives positive comments from other departments complimenting Kendall’s knowledge, professional abilities and cooperative approach, which makes working with him a pleasure.

Along with his daily duties, Kendall willingly assists the department director and supervisors with special assignments and projects. His abilities are very diverse, which makes him an extremely valuable employee to his department and the organization as a whole.
