The role of the Human Resources Department is to establish and implement programs that encompass the full range of employee services. These services include employee policies, benefits, training, classification and compensation, and recruitment. The
Personnel Human Resources Department is also responsible for the City’s Risk Management functions.

Mission Statement: The Human Resources Department is committed to working together, listening, communicating, and striving for consistency and fairness is its decisions for all City employees, citizens and visitors of this community.

The City of Branson implemented an Employee Tobacco Free Policy effective January 1, 2011. Employees are not allowed to utilize tobacco products while on regular paid time, including paid break times. This policy also includes smokeless tobacco products.
